President & CEO

Amar oversees acquisitions, financing, development management and strategic partnerships at Zail Properties.
Amar graduated with an MBA from the University of British Columbia and has over 20 years of experience in real estate investment, development and management.

Prior to joining Zail Properties, he worked in investment banking and private equity at Brookfield Asset Management and BMO Capital Partners respectively. During this period he specialized in mergers and acquisitions, equity capital markets and leveraged/management-led buyouts of companies across various industries. In addition, Amar worked as a head of finance for Boffo Developments and Hungerford Properties, both growing developers located in the Lower Mainland.

Amar enjoys an active lifestyle and can be found at the gym, skiing in Whistler, golfing or participating in almost any other indoor/outdoor activity.
