Financial Controller

Taran oversees financial reporting and accounting, as well as the human resource functions at Zail Properties. Further, Taran is responsible for the creation and implementation of internal controls and risk management at Zail.

Taran completed his Bachelor’s in Business and Administration with a major in accounting at Simon Fraser University. Taran is a designated CPA with several years of experience in public practice obtained at a top-tier international firm. During his time there, Taran focused on large real estate development, investment, and asset management firms, managing billions in assets across North America. As a lifelong learner, Taran is committed to continuous improvement both in his personal life and in the workspace. In his spare time, Taran enjoys leading an active lifestyle and spending time with his family. He loves to play all sports, however, is truly passionate about Basketball as he played it competitively in High School and University.
